Book Two of A Wonderful Week for a Quest

Both an Ox and a Moron…

Four Oxymorons. One mythical bean. Absolutely no sensible way through.

Bellissimo takes center stage in a clean comic fantasy filled with wordplay, magical creatures, taco consequences, and one knight whose confidence continues to exceed the available evidence.

This Quest Contains

Four Fearsome Oxymorons

The Little Giant, the Jumbo Shrimp, the Living Dead, and the magnificently named Moronic Ox.

Bellissimo Leads

A capable heroine determined to prove that being part of the prophecy should at least come with the right to sleep in.

Wordplay & Footnotes

Puns, contradictions, narrator interference, and several definitions that would not survive peer review.

Family-Friendly Adventure

A light, clean quest for families, younger fantasy readers, teens, and adults who enjoy comic adventures.

The Story

The Prophecy Has Another Part—and This One Is About Her

The first quest was only the beginning. After celebrating their victory with enough tacos to create consequences, Bellissimo discovers that the Uppercase Prophecy contains another section—and she is at the center of it.

With Sir Roderick at her side, she must defeat the Beandom’s four Oxymorons: the Little Giant, the Jumbo Shrimp, the Living Dead, and the Moronic Ox. Success could lead them to the mythical One Bean and the Treasure of Ages. Failure could lead to something much worse—another speech from Sir Roderick.

Bellissimo wants recognition, treasure, and perhaps the greatest reward of all: the ability to sleep in whenever she wants. First, she has to survive a quest with a man whose ego remains larger than Mount Ominous.

Enter the Beandom

Chat with Bellissimo

Ask the Beandom’s un-distressed heroine about prophecy, swordplay, oxymorons, Sir Roderick, and the strategic importance of sleeping late.

Readers Faced the Oxymorons

“I was still laughing so much while listening to this Monty Pythonesque audiobook. It was hilarious. I lost it over the three clues, especially when they encountered the Jumbo Shrimp the size of an elephant.”

Amazon reviewer

“This is a witty and intelligent story… With a nod to Taco Tuesday and the most delicious, nutritious bean, there’s no way you can read this book without a smile on your face.”
