A Violent Encounter

Jarom first encounters them when they attack the magma vessel carrying him toward Serche. Jubal identifies them as demons and says they are normally tasked with guarding the channel.

Mystic Music Against Demons

Jubal ends the battle by using a targeted mystic song that puts active combatants to sleep. The scene demonstrates both the Verdemons’ physical role as sentries and the precision of Jubal’s musical powers.
