The City Behind the Atlantis Legend

Ganosh identifies Serche as the original city behind the later Atlantis legend. According to his account, its people became so corrupt that their fate mirrored the heavenly translation of a righteous city in reverse: Serche began to sink toward Hell rather than rise toward Heaven.

A City That Cannot Finish Falling

Serche stops above the Jaws because a single righteous man remains inside it. Heavenly law will not allow that man to be confined to Hell with the rest of the city. The result is an unstable moral suspension: the city can fall only if the final righteous inhabitant gives in, or rise if the city itself somehow changes course.

Blue Stone, Sealed Gates, and the Tree of Death

The city is surrounded by luminescent blue walls and filled with tall, symbol-covered structures clustered around a central tower. Its gates are sealed against outside force. Its darkest legacy is an attempt to create the Tree of Death, whose fruit could strip immortality from angels.

The Sin Shrouds

Entry into Serche subjects travelers to its unusual moral system. White garments record wrongdoing as visible stains, turning each person’s behavior into part of the city’s security and social order.
