A Heavenly Bakers’ Union
Jarom casually describes the Order of Ambrosia as the “bakers union,” but the organization’s work is more important than the joke suggests. Its members prepare heavenly food, and Jarom’s family specialty—ambrosia-filled manna—can restore even injured celestial beings during Earthside missions.
Ordinary Work in an Extraordinary Realm
The Order helps make the Heavenly Realms feel like a civilization rather than a single throne room. Angels and cherubim have trades, families, institutions, deliveries, and specialized work. Jarom begins his story in that ordinary celestial life before a heavenly draft sends him into active service.
Manna as Emergency Medicine
What Xandir dismisses as a heavenly pastry becomes a valuable field resource. Jarom carries the manna with him, and its healing properties repeatedly demonstrate that noncombat celestial crafts can matter as much as weapons.
