Xandir initially treats cherubs as tiny, decorative, bow-carrying angels. Jarom and Elsere repeatedly prove that stereotype incomplete. Cherubim can belong to specialized heavenly divisions, train for combat, work Earthside, and develop expertise that older warriors do not possess.

Specialization Within the Order

Jarom comes from the Order of Ambrosia before a heavenly draft pulls him into active service. Elsere belongs to first-division Q-PED and has specialized equipment suited to his work. These examples show that “Cherub” describes a broad celestial identity while individual cherubs can belong to very different institutions.

Small Does Not Mean Weak

Cherubim may be physically smaller than figures such as Xandir, but the series repeatedly gives them abilities that matter precisely because brute force cannot solve every problem. Healing supplies, moral insight, specialized darts, and sacrificial courage all become decisive.
