Xandir receives Dark Judge and Bright Advocate when he accepts his post-War assignment. He describes the pair as placing justice and mercy—and often life and death—into his hands. Dark Judge represents the harder edge of that responsibility.
A Weapon That Matches Xandir’s Instincts
For much of Xandir’s exile, judgment comes more naturally to him than mercy. Dark Judge therefore becomes more than a useful sword: it reflects the side of celestial service he understands best and the moral imbalance he must eventually outgrow.
Deep Canon · The Gray Blade
Near the climax, Dark Judge and Bright Advocate fuse into one brilliant silver-gray sword. The new blade retains a black edge and a white edge while blending them through the center, turning Xandir’s two competing tools into a single image of justice and mercy working together.
