Ambrosia-Filled Manna

Jarom’s Restorative Food

  • Maker: Jarom’s family / Order of Ambrosia
  • Form: ambrosia-filled manna pastry
  • Property: powerful restorative and medicinal effect
  • Users: angels and, when needed, other injured beings

The “Heavenly Jelly Donut”

Jarom introduces the manna as a humble gift to his new master. Xandir jokes about its pastry-like appearance, but Jarom immediately explains that it has extraordinary medicinal properties—even for angels operating Earthside.

Craft Becomes Field Medicine

The manna is one of the series’ clearest examples of noncombat heavenly work becoming vital in a crisis. Jarom’s background as a baker initially seems almost absurd next to Xandir’s swords, yet the food repeatedly gives injured characters a chance to recover.

A Limited Resource

Because Jarom carries only what he brought with him, every use has weight. Healing one person can mean having less available later, turning a comic food item into a recurring test of generosity, prudence, and mercy.
