The Masterpiece
In 1939, Jorgen and Karsten work together to build an unusually elaborate music box for Minna. Karsten supplies the superior woodworking, while Jorgen composes the music and uses magical means to shape the mechanism. Inside, they carve a miniature palace, village, and forest—an entire kingdom in model form.
Creation Rather Than Imprisonment
Jorgen realizes that the enchanter’s power reaches beyond capturing existing places. The miniature kingdom can become a genuine world if it is given life. This insight marks one of the most consequential magical discoveries in the entire chronology.
Minna and the Spark of Life
Jorgen secretly takes the box to Minna’s home and plays the enchanted music outside her window. When the song ends, Minna is gone from Earth and the box has become warm and alive in his hands. Jorgen then carries what is no longer merely a crafted object but a living world.
Sir Jorgen Enters the Kingdom
Jorgen later uses the box to enter the Canticle Kingdom himself, arriving with a magically created companion and presenting himself at Queen Minna’s court as Sir Jorgen of Germania. From this point forward, Earth history and Canticle internal history become directly entangled.

Prelude Expansion: Minna’s Transfer
The prequel makes Minna central to the 1939 creation event. After Horst Strohmann commissions the box for his daughter, Jorgen and Karsten build the mechanism, palace, village, and surrounding forest together. Jorgen then secretly plays the completed magical box outside Minna’s window. Minna vanishes from Earth as the box gains the spark of life, and she appears inside as Queen Minna.
This is why the archive distinguishes the Earth date of the box’s creation from the kingdom’s own internal remembered history. Jorgen does not merely carve a static miniature; his magic produces a living world that experiences a past of its own.
