Who Is Karsten Müller?

Karsten is the surviving half of the Müller brothers’ celebrated workshop. Years after he and Jorgen created their masterpiece, Karsten lives in isolation, surrounded by tools, carved figures, and knowledge few outsiders would believe.

When the damaged music box returns to him, Karsten recognizes more than a broken mechanism. He understands that the disappearances associated with the box are real and that repairing it may require confronting the same mystery that transformed his own family.

Craftsmanship & Hidden Knowledge

Like Jorgen, Karsten represents the series’ fascination with craft as a doorway to wonder. He is a maker first, but years of experience have taught him that some creations can become larger than their makers. His workshop therefore functions as both refuge and threshold: a place where practical repair meets impossible knowledge.
