The Direct Approach
Tubal is everything Jubal is not. Where Jubal prefers music, persuasion, and careful leverage, Tubal trusts strength. His first instinct is usually to smash the barrier, overpower the opponent, or test whether a problem can be solved with a larger weapon.
A Dangerous Physical Match
Even Xandir struggles against Tubal in direct combat. The Giant’s sheer size, speed, and resilience make him one of the few opponents who can knock a Destroying Angel flat and continue fighting as though the exchange were only warming up.
Immortality with Cracks
Tubal’s confidence depends partly on the supernatural protections that have kept him and his allies from ordinary mortality. When those protections begin to fail and he sees himself bleed again, his bravado changes quickly. The moment exposes the fear beneath his appetite for violence.

Age of Archangels identifies Tubal as a kinsman and adopted son of Cain. In the later crisis, he serves the same long-running network under Master Mahan and fights alongside Jubal’s faction, linking the earliest Giant conflicts directly to the modern conspiracy.
