Not a Yeti
Xandir first assumes the enormous white-furred creature is the legendary Yeti. Yeahrti quickly corrects him: in the ancient tongue connected with his people, Yeti is an insult while Yeahrti is a title of prestige. The distinction matters deeply to him.
An Unlikely Traveling Companion
After Yeahrti inadvertently disposes of a relic thief Xandir has been ordered to pursue, a new heavenly command tells Xandir to follow the recovered map and bring the Yeahrti with him. Their treasure-hunt-like expedition forces both solitary figures into an alliance neither expected.
Strength Without Cruelty
Yeahrti is physically powerful enough to smash through stone, fight demons, and carry Xandir out of danger, but he does not delight in killing. His loneliness comes from being feared and attacked by nearly everyone who finds him. That combination of power and restraint makes him one of Xandir’s clearest lessons in judging beyond appearances.

Yeahrti becomes a genuine friend and battlefield partner to Xandir. Their journey includes celestial equipment that allows Yeahrti to fly and conceal himself, and later confrontations with Tubal and demonic forces. His survival into the modern era makes the apparently mythical creature part of the series’ long continuity rather than a one-age legend.
