The Peaceful Giants

Brekt’s People

  • Spokesman: Brekt
  • Values: peace, civilization, survival apart from Nod
  • Enemy: Master Mahan and the Giants of Nod
  • Importance: disproves the idea that all Giants are morally alike

A Different Giant Civilization

Brekt’s people live apart from the violent Giants of Nod and define themselves by the very qualities Nod rejects. Their existence forces Xandir to revise the assumption that Giant blood automatically creates an enemy.

Preparing for Assault

Peace does not mean helplessness. Brekt warns that Master Mahan has ensnared both Giants and humans and that his followers may soon overrun the land. His community prepares for attack while trying to preserve a different way of life.

The Moral Counterexample

After witnessing both factions, Xandir explicitly argues that Heaven cannot lump every Giant into one category. The peaceful community becomes one of the earliest foundations for his growing resistance to collective judgment.
