More Than a Single City
The Heavenly Realms are presented as a broad celestial domain rather than one building or street. Characters refer to multiple regions, celestial vessels, official orders, great palaces, gardens, and long distances within Heaven itself.
Home Remembered from Exile
For Xandir, Heaven is complicated. Before his fall he could grow bored with hymns and gold-paved streets; after centuries of Earthside punishment, even a brief glimpse of the Heavenly Citadel feels overwhelmingly pure and desirable. His exile turns the place he once took for granted into a symbol of restoration.
A Working Civilization
Heaven in the series is not merely scenery. It includes chains of command, councils, assignments, guild-like orders, transport systems, courts, and specialized forms of service. Jarom’s Order of Ambrosia and the Archangel Council are parts of the same larger celestial society.
Deep Canon · Spoilers
The Heavenly Realms remain central even when much of the action occurs elsewhere. Xandir’s sentence is ultimately a question of whether he can return to proper celestial standing, while Jarom’s longing for home provides a gentler contrast to Xandir’s complicated memories of the same realm.
