The Watchers Cross the Line
The Watchers are sent to observe humanity, but fascination becomes involvement. Some reveal heavenly knowledge; others form forbidden relationships with mortals. Their children become the Giants—powerful beings who do not fit cleanly into either mortal or celestial life.
A Crisis Becomes a Decree
What begins as a problem among scattered Watchers grows into a celestial emergency. Saint Michael ultimately declares the Giants a threat to humanity, while Xandir and Zeus struggle with the morality of destroying individuals they do not believe deserve a collective sentence.
Why This Age Matters
This first age establishes almost every fault line that follows: Xandir’s distrust of unquestioned authority, his bond with other Watchers, his sympathy for Giants, and the choices that eventually lead to his own judgment.
