The End of the Clan World
The Wrath destroys the old political map. Scarlatti, Azura, and Dorian cease to function as the three unquestioned centers of civilization, and survivors must organize around immediate needs rather than inherited Clan rank.
The Remainder
Those who refuse to follow the Dark vessel become collectively known as the Remainder. Their resistance is decentralized, divided into factions with practical missions. Sarhah’s Reclaimers recruit allies and rescue captives; Carnon’s Vigilant watch for Azil’s return; Cherbur’s Defenders protect communities and develop tools for survival.
Ancient Cities Return
The new struggle also uncovers places older than the Clan order. In the east, the Dark vessel raises the buried Sanctuary. The Remainder later turns toward the ancient Citadel as a possible western stronghold, using forgotten architecture to answer the needs of a changed age.
Survivors Beneath the Surface
The post-Wrath Realm is not divided only between resistance and the Dark vessel. Deep-miners, underground communities, Revs, Ethermen remnants, Mage Bears, and former vessels all complicate any simple map of allegiance. The world has become more fragmented, but also more diverse than the Clans ever admitted.
From Remainder to Dawn
The final restoration does not simply rebuild what existed before. Fifty years after the central conflict, New Scarlatti Keep contains public institutions such as the Realm Museum, where once-hidden relics including The Mind of Rahim and a Soul Cleaver are preserved for memory rather than guarded as Clan secrets. Nearby, Rahim’s Throne serves a new order that draws on the colors of all three former Clans instead of restoring one above the others.
