THE THREE GREAT CLANS

Clan Azura

Gift: Strength · Royal House of Azureheim · Tradition of Testifying

The Clan of Strength

Clan Azura descends from the ancient tradition associated with strength: protection, resolve, physical and elemental force, and decisive action. What began as a way to place a gift in service gradually became one of the Realm’s great hereditary powers.

Testifying

Azurans interpret the Threefold Path through public Testifying. A devotee performs notable works of strength, swiftness, or sight and then recounts those deeds openly as proof of devotion to Rahim. Formal ceremonies use three platforms marked with the hand, foot, and eye, while priests receive the testimony and invoke Rahim’s mercy.

The practice also preserves one side of an older religious divergence. Azurans emphasize visible deeds and spoken proof, while Dorian traditions place greater weight on written records and quieter service. Both appear to be later interpretations of older teachings about proving devotion through the same Threefold Path.

Azureheim and the Royal Line

The Clan is ruled from Azureheim by Lord Azura and his family. Waterfalls, blue regalia, martial ceremony, and the expectation of courage shape the court. Sven exemplifies the warrior ideal, while Kaval’s possible place in the royal line exposes how tightly identity and blood are bound together in Azuran society.

Strength and Azure Sustenance

Azure magic supports feats of strength and elemental force. The association connects Clan Azura to the Azure Aspect even though much of the deeper Aspect history has been lost by the Penultimate Age.
