KEEPS OF THE PENULTIMATE DAWN
Azuran Keep & Azureheim
Waterfall Court · Royal Stronghold · Seat of Clan Azura
Seat of the Azuran Kings
Azureheim and the Azuran Keep form the political heart of Clan Azura. Water dominates the city’s imagery and architecture: falls thunder around the royal stronghold, blue regalia echoes vapor and spray, and Lord Azura’s own appearance turns mist into a crownlike symbol of authority.
A Martial Court
The Keep reflects Azuran values of strength, honor, public Testifying, and military readiness. Sven leads armies in his father’s stead, while priests and mages support a court where lineage and visible devotion carry immense weight.
Kaval’s Return
Kaval’s arrival at the Keep transforms him from an unwanted orphan into a possible lost prince. Azuran lineage magic reveals a royal mark beneath the brand that identified him as an orphan, placing him inside a family and political system he had previously known only from the outside.
Destruction and Aftermath
The Keep becomes one of the major casualties of the conflict unleashed in The Hunger. Its destruction does more than remove a fortress: it shatters the visible center of Azuran power and helps create the political vacuum in which Sven later claims the title Lord Azura and gathers the Remnant.
