Sergio grows up in a future conquered by Trebles: fluffy extraterrestrial creatures whose singing overwhelms human minds. Scraggly black hair, a rough beard, battered clothing, and enormous headphones reflect years spent surviving a world where uncovered ears can be fatal.

Accidentally Carried into the Past

When J.D.’s time-traveling building retreats from the Treble future, Sergio is swept back with it. He quickly chooses the uncertain dangers of 1984 over returning to an apocalypse. The displacement is not harmless: reality resists people who remain outside their proper time, and Sergio’s continued presence changes the future he remembers.

The Crimson Leaf

A deep red leaf-shaped mark on Sergio’s hand reveals a connection to Felgarath. His inherited power is immense but unstable, awakening under pressure and attracting the attention of people who see bloodline as destiny.

Rebuilder and Pilot

Sergio develops from a traumatized refugee into a capable leader. Over years of reconstruction, he helps rebuild society, learns the controls of alien technology, and becomes the pilot of the vessel that carries the new quest beyond Earth.

Chronicler’s note: Sergio begins the story protecting his ears from the end of the world. He ends it learning to steer the future instead of merely surviving it.
