Professor Zella

Zella, known professionally as Professor Z, is an accomplished magical scholar and head of school. Precise, guarded, and fiercely protective, she has little patience for sloppy reasoning, official intimidation, or people who assume a family connection gives them the right to every family secret.

The Webroh

Professor Z possesses a Webroh, a wearable web-based magical device that can reveal what distant people are doing. Its power makes it invaluable for tracking the missing members of Hubert’s family and investigating the Lively Relics, but Zella refuses to violate promises merely because Sir Jacques arrives on official business.

Honor and the Roderick Family

Zella knows that her family was once considered great and believes that rebuilding that reputation requires keeping one’s word. Her controlled manner hides regret over the years Hubert lost and anxiety about the K-Dubs’ interest in her father’s relics.

Chronicler’s note: Professor Z can find nearly anyone through a magical web. The more difficult task is deciding when finding someone would be a betrayal.
