THE SIX ASPECTS OF RAHIM
The Purple Aspect
Combined Gift: Strength + Sight · Ether Aspect
A Combined Aspect
The Purple Aspect combines Azure strength with Scarlet sight. Its abilities join penetration and force: it can probe hidden thought and fear, create deceptive images, and apply frightening physical or magical pressure.
Known Vessels
In The Thirst, Purple is associated first with Bartan and later with Jamith. The shift demonstrates that vesselhood is an office rather than a permanent identity; an Aspect can leave one bearer and take another.
Revs
Under Jamith, Purple becomes especially associated with the creation of Revs: Mals remade through corruptive power into stronger servants. The process turns the suffering and exclusion of the Mals into raw material for an army, making Purple’s theology of salvation inseparable from coercion.
Place in the Spectrum
Purple is one of the three secondary colors hidden from ordinary Earthman sight for much of the series. Its existence completes the Scarlet-Azure pairing and helps reveal the six-moon cosmology behind the Realm’s supposedly threefold world.
