The Mage Titan

One of the Two Giants
The Mage Titan is one of only two living beings so enormous that a mountain does not reduce it to insignificance. Its scale places it in a different category from the already formidable Mage Bears, Wraiths, and other creatures of the Realm.
The Dark Vessel’s Pet
Kaval’s Dark vessel brings the Titan into the eastern mountains and commands it as an immense living engine. Its many legs pound at the mountain base until the entire barrier begins to collapse.
Heat Enough to Melt Stone
As the Titan drives itself harder, its skin glows white with heat. Falling rock melts against it and pours away as glowing mud, turning the destruction of the mountain into a river of molten stone.
Opening the Way Beyond
The Titan’s task is not merely demolition. By breaking the eastern mountain barrier, it opens the Realm to what lies beyond—and to the Bone King’s invasion. The creature therefore becomes the physical instrument through which an internal ambition creates an external catastrophe.
