A Keep Above the Realm
The Divine Keep first emerges as a mystery inside The Mind of Rahim. Instructions concerning Soul Cleavers say that the artifacts can perform their ultimate function only there, while nearby diagrams suggest that this divine stronghold is connected to the structures observed on the moons.
Ascension Shrines
Hidden near each earthly or Ether Keep is an Ascension shrine, accessible only to a vessel or one of Rahim’s Favored. Each shrine holds a Soul Cleaver and provides the means to make the leap from the Realm below to the divine architecture above.
Sixfold Architecture
Within the lunar structure, colored passages connect chambers containing strange spheres and mechanisms. The arrangement mirrors Rahim’s divided spectrum, turning the Keep into a physical representation of relationships that surface religions know only as theology.
Where Division Can Become Union
The Purple Aspect uses a Soul Cleaver inside the Divine Keep to force the moon structures toward combination. Azil’s attempt to stop him reveals the danger at the heart of the place: it offers the power to repair separation, but it can also impose unity without consent. The Divine Keep is therefore both sacred mechanism and moral test.
