Who Is Molly Rupert?

Molly Rupert is an imaginative English girl who loves small carved figures and stories. On Christmas Eve, her father gives her a beautiful music box brought home from Germany. To Molly, it initially seems like the perfect addition to the miniature world she already builds on her shelves.

Before Christmas morning, however, Molly vanishes from her locked room. The opened package remains behind, turning a joyful family gift into one of the earliest known clues in the music box’s trail across Europe and America.
