Who Is Drevin?

Drevin was once a charismatic provincial king whose subjects admired him greatly. His public charm concealed repeated betrayal in his private life. When his infidelity was finally exposed, judgment came in a form designed to mirror the offense.

Telegro, the powerful being overseeing the wider land, transformed Drevin into the Drevinwyrm: a monstrous tangle of serpent-like bodies and many faces. The punishment made physical what deception had made moral—a single life split into many appearances.

The Monster and the Man

For years the Drevinwyrm becomes one of the Frozen Mountain’s oldest terrors, treated almost like a cautionary legend until sightings grow too frequent to dismiss. When the creature’s form is finally broken apart, the man at its center remains.

Restored to human shape, Drevin remembers enough to understand that he has caused damage and that darker forces have used or defeated him. His return raises a question the series asks repeatedly: if a monstrous form can be stripped away, what responsibility remains with the person underneath?
