Jabari

Brehman’s Son

Jabari is the son of Brehman and rises to leadership among the marauders. His appearance and clothing reflect time spent among Dorian peoples, giving him an identity that crosses the old boundaries the Clans once treated as fixed.

The Fissure Folk Airship

Jabari’s marauders seize and operate the extraordinary airship connected to the Fissure Folk. The vessel lets his people intervene across the broken Realm on a scale impossible for ordinary bands of survivors.

Protection Instead of Execution

When Sarhah and her companions fall into marauder hands, Jabari recognizes them and stops his own people from brutalizing them. He places the prisoners under his personal protection, demonstrating that leadership among the marauders is not synonymous with cruelty.

The Bell and the Lost Expedition

Jabari’s airship carries one of the most important relics in the cycle: the final Bell of Creation. He and Jamith later set out beyond the mountains in search of the Light vessel and do not return, leaving the wrecked ship and its hidden bell to become crucial to the endgame of The Longing.
